Inyamanza Travels was founded by Mr. Gahima Gabriel in May 2013. Prior to this, he worked for a Germany-based educational tour company that operates all through East Africa both as a guide and operation manager before he decided to start up his own company. Below is what he has to say as an educational tour why he decided to start up his own company.
“I began working in the field of educational travel as a a guide for a foreign education tour company and was soon promoted to operation manager. In this capacity, I developed three community-based excursion activities for the company’s clients, which became very successful. I decided to start my own educational and community based Tourism Company in order to ensure that not only the clients, but also local partners and employees, are given fair treatment and receive the benefits of sustainable local tourism. That is how I came up with Inyamanza Travels”.

At that time, Gaby was working for another tourism company as Operations Manager. Read More

The feeling of leaving Rwanda today can be expressed in one word: bittersweet. Although I’m excited to walk into my house, see my family, girlfriend and cat, I can’t help get emotional at the idea of leaving this beautiful country. I woke up this morning to the sounds of my fellow travelers running around the Holy apartments, packing Read More
Working with Gaby has been an extraordinary experience. I first met Gaby on a study abroad trip through my university and was astounded with how easy to work with he is. As students, we were very ambitious about all of the things that we wanted to do and about all of the places we wanted to go. Read More
